Russian Hackers Most Skillful in the World, Claims New Report

In its 2019 Global Threat Report, US cyber-security company, CrowdStrike, has
 the West's cyber-foes not just by the sophistication of their software, which can be bought from third-party vendors, but by
, which measures how long it takes hackers to go from breaking into a machine to accessing valuable info.

While average breakout times in 2018 increased to more than four-and-a-half hours in 2018 from just under two hours in 2017, the report states that Russian spies were blisteringly fast, taking an average of just 18 minutes to get the job done.

At number 2 were the North Koreans, taking a little over two hours. Chinese hackers, meanwhile, came in third, needing around four hours to gain access to the vaults.
