Targus has launched the Mobile ViP+ Smart Backpack with an integrated Qi-charging holster that allows users to charge their Qi-enabled smartphones, such as the iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone X, or Samsung Galaxy S9. Originally unveiled at CES 2019, the backpack also has an RFID-blocking pocket, which would prevent credit cards from being skimmed remotely.
The Targus Smart Mobile ViP+ backpack comes with contoured shoulder straps and an air-mesh back panel for comfort, a trolley strap to secure to rolling luggage and a tuck-away water bottle holder. It is expected to be available for purchase in the US from next month for $199 before hitting Indian shelves later this year.
