Acer Unveils Ultra-thin TravelMate X514 Business Laptop Starting at $1,100

Acer has announced the TravelMate X514 business laptop as an upgrade over the last-gen TravelMate X3410 series, bringing a more refined design and faster hardware.

Specifications include a 14-inch 1920 x 1080 IPS touchscreen with Gorilla Glass protection, up to an Intel Core i7-8565U CPU, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, 512GB of SSD storage, 10 hours of battery life and more.

With a chassis made out of magnesium-lithium and magnesium-aluminum alloy, the newest member of the TravelMate family is said to be the 'lightest and thinnest professional notebook' from the Acer stable, weighing more than 200grams lighter than its predecessor.

The TravelMate X514-51 is expected to go on sale in the US from June with prices starting at $1,100 for the base model with a Core i5-8265U, 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD.
