Hackers Forced a Tesla to Enter the Wrong Lane

Hackers have demonstrated how they could trick a Tesla Model S to enter into the wrong lane by using a method called "adversarial attack," a way of manipulating a machine learning (ML) model.

The Tesla Autopilot recognises lanes and assists control by identifying road traffic markings.

The researchers from the Keen Security Lab of Chinese tech giant Tencent showed that by placing interference stickers on the road, the autopilot system could be fed information that would force it to make an abnormal judgement and make the vehicle enter a wrong lane.

HTC Seems to be Working on a New Vive VR Headset

It looks like HTC is working on yet another VR headset. A new headset from the company has just been reported to have passed through FCC certifications, and it looks very much like it might be the HTC Vive Pro Eye — the company's enterprise focused VR offering.

While there aren't a lot of details around the HTC Vive Pro Eye, a couple of details that weren't redacted from the FCC filing show that the label shape and placement, and the headset renders are the same as the HTC Vive Pro.

There's currently no word on when HTC might actually launch this headset, or how much it might cost, but considering the HTC Vive Pro's $1300 price tag, this enterprise focused headset might be priced at a significant markup.

Google Just Accidentally Confirmed the Pixel 3a

After almost a year of being leaked in every way possible, it looks like the Pixel 3a might be ready for launch soon. Google accidentally made the "Pixel 3a" name live on its website earlier today, confirming basically the only thing about the rumored mid-range Pixel device — its name.

The URLs are not live as of this writing, but we pretty much know everything there is to know about the phone, including the fact that it'll come with a Snapdragon 670 processor, a single 12MP rear camera, and might even have the headphone jack.

Launched last December in India, the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition is all set to be back in stock once again. According to a product page on Amazon, the device will be available for purchase once again from April 6, so if you failed to grab it the first time, this is your chance to get your hands on it.

The McLaren Edition of the OnePlus 6T has a carbon fiber pattern on its back to distinguish it from the regular variants of the device, and comes with a new 30W charging standard called Warp Charge 30.

The device also comes with 10GB of RAM, but is otherwise identical to the regular models in terms of its hardware specs. In terms of software, however, it features exclusive animations, themes, wallpapers and icons inspired by McLaren vehicles.

Having originally unveiled it in Russia last month, Samsung has launched its Galaxy A20 mid-range smartphone in India. The device is priced at Rs. 12,490, and will be available starting April 10 in red, blue and black colors.

The Galaxy A20 features a 6.4-inch HD+ (1560 x 720) Super AMOLED 'Infinity-V'display with a waterdrop notch. It is powered by the Exynos 7884 SoC, and comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of on-board storage that can be further expanded by up to 512GB via a microSD card.

The Moto G7 and Moto One Line-up of Smartphones Is Getting Google's Call Screening Feature

After launching its call screening feature on the Pixel 3 last fall, and later expanding it to the Pixel 2 and the original Google Pixel, it looks like the feature is finally expanding beyond Google's in-house smartphones.

Motorola has announced that its Moto G7 and Moto One lines of smartphones will be the first non-Pixel phones to get the call-screening feature.

The company has said that its phones have already started receiving the feature, but there's no exact timeline so far on when users of the G7 and Moto One lineup of smartphones can expect to receive them.
