OnePlus 7 Pro Cameras May Not Beat High-end Flagships, Admits OnePlus Imaging Director

OnePlus imaging director, Simon Liu, has apparently acknowledged that it might be a tall order for the upcoming OnePlus 7 Pro to beat high-end flagship smartphones in terms of its imaging prowess.

In an interview he said: "I don’t think we can beat them, but the imaging world is always subjective". He, however, claimed that the device will still "have a shot at competing with the first tier phones", saying, "Our pictures are a lot more detailed compared to our previous phones".

The OnePlus 7 Pro comes with a triple-camera setup on the back, and as revealed by the same Wired article, comes with with a 3x optical zoom option alongside 10x digital zoom.
