Asus has unveiled its entry-level ZenFone Live L2 smartphone with a few minor upgrades over its 2018 predecessor, the ZenFone Live L1. The biggest change is in the design department, with the new device offering a glossy plastic back-cover with a gradient finish instead of the matte finish found on the older model.
The hardware, however, remains very similar, with a 5.5-inch 2:1 HD+ (1440 x 720) LCD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC (or SD 425 SoC depending on market), 2GB of RAM and 16/32GB of internal storage.
Imaging options include a 5 MP f/2.4 selfie camera, and a 13MP or 8MP primary sensor, depending on the market. The ZenFone Lite L2 packs a 3,000mAh battery and runs Android 8 Oreo. The device also comes with a 3.5 mm headphone socket and a microUSB 2.0 port.
The phone will be available in Rocket Red and Cosmic Blue, but pricing details are yet to be announced.
