Xiaomi Redmi 7A With Snapdragon 439, 4,000mAh Battery Officially Announced

Xiaomi has officially unveiled the entry-level Redmi 7A as an upgrade over last year's Redmi 6A. It comes with splash-resistant P2i coating and features a notch-less 5.45-inch HD+ (1440 x 720) screen with an 18:9 aspect ratio.

The Redmi 7A is powered by the Snapdragon 439 chipset, and will be offered in two variants - one with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, and another in a 3GB + 32GB configuration.

Imaging options include a single 13MP rear camera with PDAF and a 5MP front-facing camera. Connectivity options include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, 3.5mm audio socket and wireless FM radio. The phone comes with a 4,000mAh battery and runs Android 9.0 (Pie) with MIUI 10.

Pricing and availability of the Redmi 7A will be announced alongside the Redmi K20 launch on May 28.

Samsung Reportedly Working on Galaxy A70s With 64MP Camera

 Samsung is reportedly working on a smartphone with a whopping 64MP image sensor as its primary camera. According to South Korean publication, ET News, the device will be a revamped version of the Galaxy A70 that was launched earlier this year, and will be marketed as the

As for the 64MP sensor, it will reportedly be the ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor Samsung
 earlier this month. It comes with 0.8μm pixels for ultra high-res mobile photography and supports real-time high dynamic range (HDR) of up to 100-decibels (dB) to provide richer hues.

Apple Launches New Macbook Pro With 9th-gen Core i9 CPU, Fixed Keyboards

Apple has unveiled its next-gen Macbook Pro with faster 8th- and 9th-generation Intel Core processors and what the company says are better, more reliable keyboards. While Apple is sticking with 8th-gen chips for the 13-inch models, the 15-inch Macbook pros are getting the 9th-gen CPUs.

The overhaul brings octa-core processors to MacBook Pro for the first time, delivering "two times faster performance than a quad-core MacBook Pro and 40 percent more performance than a 6-core MacBook Pro, making it the fastest Mac notebook ever", the company said in a press release.

While  13-inch Macbook Pros have been priced starting at $1,799 in the US, the 15-inch models come with a starting price of $2,399. They're already available from apple's web-store, and will be up for sale in select Apple Stores and Apple Authorized Resellers later this week.

Google Glass Enterprise Edition 2 With Faster Processor, New AI Engine Launched for $999

The latest edition of Google Glass is built on the Qualcomm Snapdragon XR1 platform, which features a quad-core 1.7GHz CPU and a new artificial intelligence engine. The chip, Google says, offers better power efficiency, enhanced performance and support for advanced machine learning capabilities.

The Google Glass Enterprise Edition 2 features an 8MP camera that can record 720p videos. It also has an USB-C port and comes with both Bluetooth 5 and Wi-Fi 5 connectivity. The device runs Android 8.1 Oreo and carries an 820mAh battery that Google claims will offer 8-hours of battery life.

The Glass Enterprise Edition 2 comes with a suggested price of $999, and pre-orders are already live from Google's partner companies in the US.

Xiaomi Redmi 7A With 5.45-inch HD+ Display, Android Pie Certified in China

Rumored to be launched soon as Xiaomi's entry-level smartphone offering, the Redmi 7A has been certified by Chinese electronics certification agency, TENAA, revealing much of the phone's key hardware specs. Two different models have been certified - M1903C3EE and M1903C3EC.

As per the listings, the device will come with a 5.45-inch (1440 x 720) 2.5D curved glass display, a 1.4GHz Octa-Core processor of unspecified make, 2GB/3GB/4GB of RAM, 16GB/32GB/64GB of storage, a 13MP single rear camera, a 5MP front-facing camera, a 4,000mAh battery and Android 9.0 Pie with MIUI 10.

There's no word on when the phone will be made official by Xiaomi, but going by recent developments, it shouldn't, hopefully, be too long.

Xiaomi 'RedmiBook 14' With Core i7 CPU, GeForce MX250 GPU Rumored to Launch Next Week

After recent reports suggested that Xiaomi may soon launch Redmi-branded laptops, a new has now seemingly revealed the specifications of the first such device, which is rumored to launch alongside the Redmi K20 next week.

Expected to be marketed as RedmiBook 14, the upcoming device is said to feature a 14-inch display of unknown resolution. It will reportedly be offered with Intel Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7 mobile processors options, alongside up to an Nvidia GeForce MX250 GPU.

According to MySmartPrice, the laptop is also expected to be offered with 4GB or 8GB of RAM alongside 256GB and 512GB storage options. The notebook will come in silver color and will be affordably priced, suggests the new leak.

Here are the Official Redmi Note 7S 48MP Camera Samples From Xiaomi

A day after officially confirming the impending launch of the Redmi Note 7S in India, Xiaomi has  a bunch of images that it says have been shot by the device's rear-facing dual-camera setup, which includes a 48MP sensor as its primary camera.

As can be seen from the images in the gallery below, the camera in the Redmi Note 7S does seem to capture some nice photos, with bright, vibrant images in daylight, and detailed, relatively noise-free images in the dark. Color saturation and white balance seem good as well for what should be a budget device positioned below the Note 7 Pro.
